Hotel Guest Reviews of the Loews Lake Las Vegas

It was a 10 minute drive into and out of the place. The room was not that impressive, but the hotel itself (lobby and outdoors) was very nice.

Beautiful property that was a great idea but built at the wrong time. Lake Las Vegas has been hit hard with the real estate downturn. The village in Lake Las Vegas now has a lot of empty store fronts from when we were last there 2 years ago. That was part of the charm of staying at this property was the surrounding area which is now rather depressing. But, the Lowe's is still well maintained and a great value given the proximity to the strip. ...read more

Overpriced $22.00 tacked on per room per day for facilities we didn't even use, never been charged for valet before in Vegas & not even warned there's a fee, restaurant over priced, rooms were clean, beds were comfy, didn't like concrete ceilings made having a single light on impossible as it reflected on ceiling and lit up room, and really hated having no drapes only gauze over windows as it made us very uncomfortable privacy wise & it was impossible to sleep in and use the room for the amount of time we paid for. ...read more

Though there were only 11 guest cars in the parking lot the first night of our arrival and 47 the next, we were the only one assigned a room overlooking the parking lot at the very furthest end of the hotel. There was only an emergency exit at the end of the hall, so we had to walk down two long hallways to the elevator and thus in the morning saw newspapers outside the rooms, all on the other side of the hallway, which overlooked the lake. This may be a more enjoyable place to stay in warmer weather but the heated pool was closed, the hot tub was unavailable while being serviced, and many of the amenities were unavailable or had very limited hours. Tried two of the restaurants inside the hotel - mediocre, high-priced food at best. Though the hotel and grounds are truly lovely, this was not worth our accepted offer price, plus taxes, fees, and additional $22 resort fee per night charged by the hotel upon our arrival. ...read more

The room was nice, clean, with a good view. We did not use the resort facilities, and did not like being charged the resort fee. At least we could park for free. We felt that everything there was over-priced. ...read more
